Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Party
In the fall, Friends of Sugar Loaf hosts a Halloween Trunk or Treat party at Station 1, where kids can come play games, participate in crafts, and trick-or-treating from the trunks of participating cars. Adults can come and socialize over desserts and other home-baked food items. It’s fun for everybody, come rain, snow, or sunshine!

Native Seed Collecting on Sugarloaf
Would you like to collect native plant seeds on Sugarloaf with field naturalist Dave Sutherland? Dave is a recent
retiree from the city of Boulder’s Open Space Mountain Parks (OSMP)
Participants may take home native plant seeds and the surplus will go to Dave who has been spreading native plants
for 25 years in the Boulder area. He hosts many native plant events where he hands out free seeds. More about Dave

Seed Collecting on Sugarloaf:
When: 8:30am on Wednesday, September 4th
Where: 470 Weaver Drive. Weaver Drive is just below fire station 2. Once on Weaver turn right after the meadow, located about 1/2 mile up. Please park on the long driveway before the gate.
What to bring: Gloves, clippers, brown paper bags or cloth bags like a pillow case (anything breathable). Hat, sunscreen, water.

Sugarloaf Community Picnic
Please join us at Fire Station 1 on Lost Angel Road
for a Sugarloaf Community & Fire Department Picnic.
As a thank you to our community, the fire department will be catering lunch & hosting a soft serve ice cream truck. Please bring a side dish, appetizer or drinks in a cooler to share, if you'd like.

Sugarloaf Garage Sale
The Annual Sugarloaf Garage Sale happens this Memorial Day Weekend. All proceeds go to the Sugarloaf Volunteer Fire Department. Stores within stores of furniture, housewares, sporting equipment, housewares, books, art, clothing—everything you might be missing in life. Open every day from 8am to 4pm. People come from all over Boulder County to hunt for the best treasures. Don’t miss out!
